Beneath the Sea in 3D presented by Mark Blum

Christmas Tree Worm (Spirobranchus giganteus), Little Cayman Island
Renowned 3D photographer and naturalist Mark Blum will show many of his favorite 3D images acquired on diving expeditions to the South Pacific, the Caribbean, the Galapagos Islands, and his native California coast. Marks' years of research and experimentation in underwater stereo photography allow him to capture a vision of the marine environment that is unavailable even to experienced divers. This show features many previously unpublished images. The AMNH Museum Shop will offer Mr. Blum's unique series of 3D books for purchase and signing at the meeting.

The meeting will include some announcements, and our usual informal show-and-tell when members share their own work (in any format) in viewers or on bulletin boards around the room. Polarized 3D glasses will be provided.
Free and open to the public
