Gerald Marks:

Here's my review...
The overall experience at Monkeytown was fine. The 3-D was based on Chromadepth® which means that the glasses are holographically created prisms, placed horizontally so that the colors of the spectrum are differentially shifted so that anything Red comes forward, anything Blue goes back and Green in between. The artists didn't really design for the glasses, except for the last one who's work was the most 3-D. The middle piece, featuring footage from North Korea was very interesting, if not 3-D. Overall, I liked the projections but Martine (my gf) loved it.

The space is spectacular and the geometry should be especially wonderful for anaglyph. I suspect that they used S-Video connectors instead of VGA and the quality suffered for that reason. VGA is mandatory for anaglyph, highly desirable for Chromadepth®, and better for almost everything.

The food was wonderful. I had the goat cheese & bean enchiladas with a smokey chipotle sauce with some nice meslun salad... $13.
