This weekend is the World Science Festival. Amazing events are being held throughout New York City. NY Stereoscopic Society member Oliver Sacks is speaking on Friday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the relationship between vision and the brain. Dr. Sacks is the author of Stereo Sue, a wonderful narrative on stereoscopic vision and how "eye training" stereo cards helped Sue Barry recover her depth perception.
